Moe Moe Fighter

MoeMoeFighter (萌萌大作战 in Chinese) is a side-scrolling mobile game. Four members in a team designed this game.

The core mechanics of this game is dodge and shoot. Two players control either the bird or the penguin on each side of the screen. A cable connects them, and they can pull each other with this cable. The bird cannot be in the water, and the penguin cannot be in the sky. If they swap positions, their movement will be limited.

Two players must cooperate in dodging durians or bouncing little watermelon back like ammo to strike enemies. Peaches and strawberries are buffs that can restore HP or energy bar. If the energy is full, two players can touch each other to create a powerful blast. This game aims to beat the boss, eliminate as many enemies as possible, and achieve high scores.

This game offers local co-op, online co-op, and single-player modes.

My role: Level design and testing

I placed enemies, obstacles, powerups, and health in a specific order to make sure the player could get used to the control and understand the game's mechanics.
